It’s a dark time for the Pirate Captains. On the night of December 31st for the past two years, one of their most feared compatriots has been mysteriously slaughtered in cold blood, rubbed out by a nameless, ghostly assassin. In a bold attempt to defeat this New Year Curse, Captain Long Dong has brought the remaining captains to their favourite watering hole, the Squid and Parrot, on the last night of the year, in the hope that by massing together they will protect their pillaging band against this unseen enemy. Who has dared to challenge their might in this cowardly fashion? Will the killer strike again? Can you survive The Curse of the Pirate Captains?

Jax is the flamboyant captain of the good ship Well-Endowed. He fancies himself as quite the ladies man and his crew are all extremely dashing. But recently he has lost out in love to Captain Long Dong Silver. Could that be motive for murder?
Captain Ginger Beard
Captain Ginger Beard is flamboyant and stylish. He has the best hat and the most swash-buckling gear. He loves his seafood and the high life and fancies himself quite the cook. But does he have the appetite for murder?
Captain Davy Jones
Davy loves a sea shanty so that’s what he plays on his Pirate Radio Station Podcast. He’s a bit of a star, in fact, but his heart is in his dream of a coffee bar franchise, Star Bucaneers. What might tempt him to murder - threats to his podcast? Threats to his dream?
Captain Black Patch
Captain Black Patch is an old school pirate captain: loud and hearty, full of tales of derring-do. He gets his name from his eye patch. However, he keeps changing his story as to how the eye was lost and the moves from eye to eye as the evening goes on… Does this reflect a lying nature? What is his real ambition? Would he murder to achieve it?
Captain Alba Tross
Alba is a pirate captain par excellence. Not only is she the most feared female pirate ever to sail the seven seas, but she went to the Sorbonne and studied Philosophy. She is known as an evil genius who uses mathematical calculations to decide how to approach the next ship she plans to raid. Has she calculated the risks of murder?
First Mate Crispin
First Mate Crispin is the feared Long Dong Silver’s right-hand man. He runs a tight operation, and he and Long Dong brought the captains together for this meeting. Recently, he completed his PHD (Pirate Hardness Diploma). Does this speak to a greater ambition? Could it give him the smarts for murder?
Captain Jolly Roger
Jolly Roger is a go-getting captain who knows he is someone born to raise spirits and motivate a pirate crew. His motto is: ‘No pirate left behind’ and his ship has the non-threatening name of ‘The Skull and Happy Bones’. He likes to take a lead but could that make him a threat to Long Dong?
Captain Fish Hook
Fish Hook has the air of a tired pirate captain who has seen it all before. He is after a quiet life and his main topics of conversation revolve around fishing. His most engaging (arguably annoying) characteristic is his old-school pirate superstitions, of which he has many. He tries to plan his pirating missions to take his ship, ‘The Tackle’ around areas known for their fishing, which has become his first love.
