Fancy dress costumes for 1970s

How To Get Farrah Fawcett's Iconic BlowoutsThe most popular Whodunnit Dinners murder mystery dinner game without doubt is The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Club. Why? We aren't sure. Could it be the ridiculous name? Or the intriguing nature of the mystery? Or could it be the 70s stylings?

If that's what interest you then you're in for a treat. Here are our top 3 suggestions for a 70s outfit.

1.  Do the flick
All the glamorous ladies of the 70s had the classic flick. To achieve this look, blow dry your hair straight and part in the middle. Spritz with water to make slightly damp. Put rollers in the front three down each side, rolling away from your face, leave for 20 minutes.

When dry carefully unroll and spray liberally with hair spray - do not brush out!

2. Slacks and shirt - for men and women!
The ultimate in 70s casual style is slacks and a shirt. Flares are quite popular now so you could just pair with your wide leg trousers/flares or find some in a charity shop. If the shirt is silky even better.

And if you are a man see if you can pair it with a medallion or a silky cravat. Cool.

3. Platform heels
If you can get yourself a pair of platforms then you're outfit is made. Men and women wore platforms in the 70s so give yourelf a little lift.
