What do I get when I purchase a Whodunnit Dinners murder mystery game?

What's the format of your murder mystery games?
Our murder mystery games start with an introductory drinks round. There are then 2 rounds of clues between courses before you make your assessments in the final round.

Why don't you have a reveal cd?
We have played a lot of murder mystery games of all kinds including those with a cd. What makes our games unique is that you all act out the final reveal which makes everything clear and everything fun!

Do I know who the murderer is before we start?
No! With WhoDunnit Dinners everyone is in the dark, including the murderer themselves! Argueably this is less 'true to life' but in our experience it makes for a more interesting evening, if everyone thinks that they might be guilty. All the guests are then looking out for clues as to who committed the crime. (You can also accuse yourself - or throw yourself on your sword - in the Accusations Round, if you think you were the only one who had the means, motive and opportunity!)

I've just ordered my murder mystery game. When can I expect delivery?
Your game should be with you in 3-5 working days. Orders received after 12 pm will be despatched the next working day. All despatches are subject to the Royal Mail delivery service and we can make no allowances for any strikes.

I need a murder mystery game for the weekend. Help!
To receive your murder mystery game by Saturday morning using standard delivery you will need to order by Wednesday 12pm. You can also order special delivery  in which case you will receive your game in 2 working days. However, remember that it's best to send out invites to your guests in advance so that they can prepare their costumes and their characters. You will also ideally need the hostnotes in advance so that you can prepare a sumptuous meal and atmospheric setting!

In special circumstances we can send you the collateral by email rather than in the post. The cost will be the same as the printed version, but you will be able to print the materials on your computer.

Email us to let us know the urgency and once you have ordered the game we will email you the materials for printing.

What is the tone of your games?
Our games are designed to be enjoyed over a glass of wine and with friends. They are really for an adult audience more along the lines of the Carry On films than an Agatha Christie mystery.

What if one or more of my guests drop out after I have sent out the invitations?
You need to have all the characters present for the script and host notes that you have been purchased to work. You have the option of one of the other guests doubling up and playing their part too, although you are likely to lose some  of the authenticity and we don't really recommend it. Our first suggestion would be to phone round some friends and try to recruit a last minute replacement, and help them out with their costume.

Alternatively, if we have another version of the same story available for the reduced number you require, we can email you the new script and host notes within 24 hours for a nominal fee of £5.

If you require the story for a number of guests that has not been written yet, we may be able to accomodate your request, but will require more details, time and there will be an additional cost. Contact us on: sales@whodunnitdinners.co.uk

I want to order one of your games but you don't have the right number of players for me. Can you help?
If you want to play one of our games but the gender split isn't quite right for you or there isn't a game for the number of players you have then drop us an email.
